Effective Aug. 3, 2020: Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., excluding the boat ramp (see below for adjusted hours), marina, restrooms, beaches and concessions. Due to local orders, facial coverings or masks are required inside buildings for staff and visitor safety. Due to limited visitation, the park may be closed early and remain closed for several hours. The picnic pavilions, picnic area and one restroom are closed. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Visitors are expected to maintain distances of at least six feet apart.
The boat ramp will be available to boaters one hour before official sunrise and will close to additional boaters at 6 p.m. daily. All boaters must exit the park by 11 p.m.
