IMPORTANT NOTICE

We are pleased to announce the upgrade of our camping and cabin reservation system and changes to our overnight accommodations policies.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO YOU?

The reservation system upgrade provides an improved view of the campground and cabin maps on the ReserveAmerica Web site, as well as, significant improvements at check-in resulting in a much quicker and enjoyable start to your camping or cabin stay.

IMPORTANT POLICY CHANGES FOR EVERYONE

In addition to the reservation system upgrade, we are taking this opportunity to change several of our overnight accommodation policies to better serve all of our visitors. These policy changes went into effect on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 and will apply to existing reservations.

Reservation Changes and Cancellations

In an effort to ensure fairness in reserving campsites and cabins, reservations made with departure dates beyond the 11-month advance reservations window may not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation is made.

No-Show Policy

To make available reserved but unoccupied campsites and cabins, a reservation will be held until check-out time one day after the scheduled arrival date. If the park or ReserveAmerica is not called before that time, the reservation will be considered a "no show," and the remainder of the reservation will be cancelled. The amount refunded will be the amount paid for the campsite or cabin reservation, less the one night's fee.

Method of Payment

Customers who pay by check or money order have decreased to such a degree that these methods of payment will no longer be accepted for reservations. Tax-exempt organizations will be the only non-credit card entity permitted to pay by check. These tax-exempt transactions will only be accepted at the park prior to or upon arrival.
